Drivers considering the base version of the Kia Soul can enjoy an impressive set of standard equipment and features. While some models don't feature Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® connectivity, the LX trim includes smartphone integration as a standard feature. Beyond this, the Kia Soul features a seven-inch touch screen infotainment display, seating for up to five passengers, and a 2.0-liter inline-4 engine. The base 2.0-liter inline-4 engine boasts 147 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque. Drivers can look forward to an available intelligent variable transmission and a standard six-speed manual transmission. Beyond this, the Kia Soul LX comes equipped with a six-speaker audio system, drive select mode technology, a rear-camera display, and steering-wheel-mounted audio controls. The newest model also features a Rear Occupant Alert, which notifies the driver via beeps and a message to their smartphone that someone is in the back seat.
